Health: Ramen has dry eye that will require his adoptive family to be diligent about making sure his eye medications are administered and his eyes are cleared of any matter that has accumulated. We believe Ramen's vision is limited to seeing shadows. Ramen is also deaf and although he exhibits some stiffness and weakness in his rear legs, he does not exhibit any limitations as a result of his leg issues. He is up to date on all vaccinations and neutered. Temperament: In spite of his limited vision and lack of hearing, Ramen displays a happy attitude, showing excitement when his foster family returns after being gone for work, errands, etc. He has a favorite bed and loves to sleep. On occasion he will play and every now again will show his excitement by doing "chin spins". Another funny quirk of Ramen's is his insistence on keeping his head in the food bowl the entire time he is eating. My Ideal Home: Ramen would prefer a home where the activity level of his family is laid back like he is rather than one that has constant activity. If you are looking for a laid back companion to just hang with, Ramen might be your guy.
